Job summary

Clean Harbors Deer Park is seeking a licensed I&E Technician for the Deer Park, TX incineration team. The role includes hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of motor and control circuits using PLC Ladder Logic.

Rotation 4 on/4 off under CBA, with overtime opportunities and benefits. Required: Texas Journeyman Electrician License or NCCER Industrial Electrician Certification, 3–5 years in industrial electrical maintenance, NFPA 70E knowledge, and ability to

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Texas Journeyman Electrician License or NCCER Industrial Electrician Certification or higher required.
• 3-5 years industrial electrical maintenance experience required.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E/Arc Flash required.
• Ability to read PLC/DCS Ladder Logic and interact with field equipment required.
• Knowledge of Data Control Systems (DCS) required.
• Experience with 480V and below required.
• VFD programming knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots instrumentation and control circuit malfunctions.
• Troubleshoots motors, MCC buckets, and associated control circuit issues.
• Performs preventative electrical maintenance on systems.
• Performs instrument bench calibrations on new and existing instruments.
• Maintains accurate records and logs.
• Installs new system control and power wiring.
• Installs cabling, power distribution, and motor control centers.
• Performs electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Works rotating shifts per CBA.
