Job summary

Clean Harbors in Dickinson, TX is seeking an I&E Maintenance Technician with strong instrumentation and mechanical aptitude to join a safety-focused team. You will perform instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC/DeltaV programming, while diagnosing control circuitry and supporting maintenance activities.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, installing system controls and wiring, motor work, and record-keeping. Requires HS diploma and proven I&E experience with 480V and below.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Instrumentation degree or certification is preferred.
• 4+ years of I&E experience in a plant environment is preferred.
• Solid instrumentation skills are required.
• PLC programming experience (DeltaV) is required.
• Honeywell experience is required.
• DCS experience is required.
• Installing VFDs is required.
• Mechanical aptitude is required.
• Experience working with 480V and below is required.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading of electronic schematics is required.
• Proficiency in PID diagrams is required.
• Team player willing to assist where needed.
• Ability to prioritize work is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions.
• Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations.
• Maintains accurate records and logs as required.
• Installs new system controls (including power wiring).
• Installs cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centers.
• Services and replaces motors and lighting.
• Performs general maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
