Job summary

Envases US Aluminum Division seeks an Instrumentation & Electronics Technician for our Waco, TX facility. The role covers installation, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of plant instrumentation, PLCs, HMIs and advanced sensors in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

The technician will ensure machine uptime, data integrity, and product quality by maintaining control systems reliability. Education and 3–5 years of relevant experience are preferred, with night/weekend on-call

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience: 3–5 years maintaining instrumentation and electronic controls in high-speed manufacturing.
Skills: Reading electrical schematics, P&IDs, ladder logic; experience with Allen-Bradley PLC hardware.
Tools: Use of precision electrical test equipment and hand tools.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PLC hardware/software and industrial networks.
Maintain backups of PLC programs and HMI configurations.
Calibrate instruments (pressure, temp, flow, level) and repair field devices.
Troubleshoot electrical circuits up to 480V and configure VFDs/Servo systems.
Maintain high-speed vision/inspection systems and support quality teams.
