Job summary

Westlake is seeking an I&E Technician to provide instrumentation and electrical maintenance for facility equipment in a safe and cost-effective manner. The role focuses on calibration, repair, preventive maintenance, and critical support to production and engineering teams.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) with a technical certificate in Instrument/Electrical trades and at least 3 years of industrial plant experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency reading electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to apply information from manuals.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, repair and integrity checks of process instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Implement and document preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize plant uptime.
• Provide technical assistance to production and engineering on instrumentation applications and modifications.
• Maintain department records, inventories, vendor resources and history of equipment.
