Job summary

Clean Harbors Deer Park, TX is seeking a licensed I&E Technician to join a 24/7 incineration team. Responsibilities include troubleshooting instrumentation and control circuits, maintaining electrical systems, and performing instrument calibrations.

The role requires a Journeyman license or NCCER Industrial Electrician certification, plus 3–5 years in an industrial environment. The position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• NCCER Industrial Electrician Certification or Journeyman License is required by the CBA.
• 3–5 years in industrial electrical maintenance and instrumentation calibration.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot instrumentation and control circuit malfunctions.
• Maintain electrical systems and perform preventive maintenance as assigned.
• Perform instrument bench calibrations on new and existing instruments.
• Install new system control wiring and cabling.
• Read and interpret blueprints and instrumentation diagrams.
• Operate in a 24/7/365 rotating shift.
• Adhere to NFPA 70E/Arc Flash safety standards.

*Clean HarborsDeer Park *is searching for a licensed, reliable and safety orientedI&E Technicianto join our**Deer Park, TX *incineration team! The Electrical and Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for performing hands-on instrument checks & calibrations, troubleshooting, maintenance & repair of motor circuits and control devices using PLC Ladder Logic and test equipment, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.*This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Pay, schedule, and testing requirements are governed by the union contract.Required Credentials (per CBA):A minimum of TDLR Journeyman Electrician's License (or a higher license) orNCCER Industrial Electrician. For this specific position, we do not accept “TDLR Electrical Apprentice” or “NCCER Instrumentation Technician” as credentials for this facility due to CBA requirements. All credentials will be verified prior to moving forward with our applicant reviewal process. If you do not have the required credentials, your application will be removed from consideration.Work Schedule (per CBA):Rotating shift schedule consisting of 4 day shifts/4 off (on-call), followed by 4 night shifts/4 off (off-call).
