Job description

Air Liquide Large Industries provides our customers with industrial gas and energy solutions vital to their production. We operate over 2,000 miles of pipelines in the U.S., supplying oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, and syngas to major industries. Our operations are monitored 24/7 from our control center in Houston, Texas, overseeing over 89,000 data points to ensure reliable supply and efficiency.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

You will support the operation, start-up, and shut-down of compressors and related cryogenic bulk liquid tanks, among other responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Support in operation of, start-up and shut-down of compressors and related cryogenic tanks.
• Calibrate and maintain instrumentation on production plants and delivery systems.
• Maintain and repair PLCs, control systems, and operator interfaces.
• Repair instrumentation and tune control loops.
• Complete preventive maintenance and document all work in the CMMS.
• Troubleshoot plant control systems and assist with new installations.
• Manage spare parts inventory and maintain calibration records.
• Coordinate with contractors, monitor work quality, and perform safety reporting.
• Respond to plant emergencies, maintain safety standards, and control costs.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Valid U.S. employment authorization; no visa sponsorship needed.
• Minimum 4 years of I&E experience, plant environment preferred.
• Knowledge of CMMS, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Ability to operate machinery, including forklifts.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle emergencies.

This position is based in Rodeo, CA, with a pay range of $32.00 - $50.00 per hour, considering experience and market factors.
