Job summary

BLS Electrical is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Superintendent to oversee oilfield I&E projects across West Texas and the Permian Basin. The role combines field leadership with strategic focus on profitability, safety, and client relations.

The ideal candidate has deep I&E expertise, strong project management skills, and established relationships with operators and contractors throughout the Permian Basin. Travel to multiple sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in industrial electrical and instrumentation construction, preferably oil & gas.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple I&E projects, field crews, and teams.
• Strong understanding of West Texas / Permian Basin oil & gas market and practices.
• Experience with project estimating, bidding, budgeting, cost control, and financial performance.
• Leadership, strategic thinking, and ability to drive profitability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple I&E projects from planning to completion.
• Manage project schedules, manpower, equipment, and resources.
• Lead estimating, bidding, and business development efforts in the Permian Basin.
• Provide technical oversight for field installation, maintenance, and commissioning.
• Develop and mentor field leadership; ensure safety, quality, and cost control.
