Job summary

Nutrien in Augusta, GA is seeking an experienced Engineer to lead Instrumentation & Electrical reliability at our chemical manufacturing site. This role focuses on safety, process control, and continuous improvement across DCS/SIS and safety programs.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years engineering experience in the chemical manufacturing process or related industry.
• Experience with DCS, SIS, BPCS and Instrument Control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and reliability programs at site and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and manage control system, I&E integrity, and safety systems.
• Collaborate across teams to address long-term site optimization.
• Review capital projects and equipment specs for PSM compliance.
• Mentor peers on electrical codes and best practices.
