Job summary

Nutrien is seeking an experienced Instrument & Electrical Engineer to lead safety and reliability programs at our Augusta, GA site. You will manage control systems, safety instrumented systems, and condition monitoring while coordinating with multiple teams to identify improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, a technical background in electrical/control systems, and the ability to mentor staff through outages, turnarounds, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems; other degrees considered with relevant experience.
• 5+ years engineering experience in chemical manufacturing or related industry.
• Experience with DCS, SIS, BPCS, Instrument Control and valves preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety daily through leadership to meet Home Safe Everyday vision.
• Develop, implement, and manage core I&E reliability programs at site.
• Lead cybersecurity programs for control systems and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Review capital project packages and equipment specs to ensure PSM best practices.
