Job summary

CF Industries, a leader in clean energy production, seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to provide technical expertise for electrical power systems, instrumentation, and control systems. You will support safe, reliable plant operation and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and EHS&S to drive improvements.

The role includes developing and maintaining electrical/instrumentation standards, supporting capital projects, and leading design reviews from concept

Qualifications

ABET-accredited engineering degree required, Electrical preferred.
Five+ years of engineering in oil, gas, or chemical manufacturing.
Three+ years of hands-on in-plant experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and EHS&S to support safe, reliable plant operation.
Provide technical support for electrical power distribution up to 34.5 kV and for instrumentation and control systems.
Prepare, review, and approve engineering designs, specs, and construction packages.
Lead design reviews and maintain electrical and instrumentation documentation.
Support turnarounds, PHAs, and incident investigations.
