Job summary

Optimized Process Designs LLC (OPD) seeks an I&E Project Lead to own the Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls scope for EPC projects from development through commissioning. You will drive execution across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning while maintaining alignment with cost, schedule, quality, and client objectives.

This role requires a strong ownership mentality and ability to balance technical leadership with practical project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Experience leading electrical, instrumentation, or controls work on industrial EPC projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate multi-discipline teams and resources.
• Experience collaborating with clients, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead and execution owner for all I&E activities on EPC projects from proposal through startup.
• Develop project estimates, scope definitions, execution strategies, and plans.
• Lead I&E execution to meet cost, quality, safety and schedule targets.
• Forecast resources, manage risks and critical path, coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Lead client engagement, change management, and cross-functional coordination.
• Identify challenges, develop solutions, and drive issue resolution to maintain momentum.
