Job summary

Turner Industries Group in Houston, TX, with a jobsite in Alvin, TX, is seeking an I&E Planner to join the Project Controls Team. The role involves estimating labor hours, developing work plans, and preparing job packages for maintenance, turnarounds, and small capital projects.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of field planning experience in industrial maintenance, capital projects or outages/turnarounds.
• Four (4) years of jobsite mechanical craft experience or BS degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• NCCER certification is a plus.
• Experience estimating labor hours, materials, and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Review specs and drawings to determine scope of work and estimate content.
• Prepare estimates with takeoffs of materials, services, and man-hours.
• Develop job plans, schedules, and work packages with SME input.
• Assist with planning for turnarounds, maintenance, or capital projects.
• Document change orders and deviations; use ERP to plan installations and repairs.
