Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking an I&E Planner to join our Project Controls Team in Houston, TX and be placed at a jobsite in Alvin, TX or nearby. You will estimate scope, plan maintenance, turnarounds, and capital projects, using ERP systems and craft knowledge.

The ideal candidate brings field planning experience, a construction or engineering BS, and proficiency with SAP, Excel, and MS Office. Safety and teamwork are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• Two years of field planning experience in industrial maintenance, capital projects or outages/turnarounds.
• Four years of jobsite mechanical craft experience or a BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related.
• NCCER certification, craft journeyman, or foreman is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Review specs and drawings to determine scope for estimates and takeoffs.
• Prepare estimates including labor hours, material, outside services and subcontractors.
• Develop work plans and job plan packages; coordinate with SMEs to define steps and man-hours.
• Plan maintenance, turnarounds, small capital projects, or combinations of these.
