Job summary

Kap Project Services is seeking an experienced I&E Planner to join our Capital Projects team in Baytown, TX. You will develop detailed work packages, estimates, and execution strategies for Instrumentation and Electrical scopes across capital growth and site improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years of I&E planning in heavy industrial facilities, with strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, and hands-on experience using SAP and Primavera P6 for planning and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8+ years of I&E planning in heavy industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical (distribution, switchgear, motors, MCCs) and Instrumentation (transmitters, control valves, DCS/PLC I/O).
• Experience with SAP Work Management and Primavera P6 is highly preferred.
• Ability to read P&IDs, electrical schematics, and loop diagrams.
• Willing to work 4×10 schedule in Baytown, TX with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed I&E work packages, safety plans, and job estimates.
• Conduct field walkdowns to verify scope and identify interferences.
• Coordinate materials, tools, and long‑lead items for execution.
• Use SAP and Primavera P6 to build task lists and track milestones.
• Collaborate with project engineers, construction, operations and supervisors.
