Job summary

CF Industries is seeking an I&E Maintenance Technician to provide technical skill and guidance for Instrument & Electrical maintenance and to support Sr. Coordinators on project construction across Distribution Facilities.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, documentation, and training operations personnel. Applicants should have 5–10 years of plant I&E experience, familiarity with PLC/HMI systems (RS Logix/RS Studio), AutoCAD, and field wiring.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in instrument & electrical (I&E) in plant operations.
• Background in instrumentation and controls with PLC/HMI installations.
• Experience with AutoCAD and field wiring.
• Willingness to travel 70–80% and possible supervision roles.
• OSHAs process safety knowledge (MOCs, PSSRs, PHAs, LOPA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide project design, installation, and documentation.
• Install and maintain Instrument & Electrical equipment across distribution facilities.
• Supervise external I&E contractors during major work.
• Train operations personnel in troubleshooting I&E equipment.
