Job summary

NorthStar Energy Services is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Engineer / Project Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in support of energy facility projects. The role blends hands‑on electrical and instrumentation engineering with project leadership from early design through construction, commissioning, and startup.

You will develop deliverables, define scope and budget, coordinate procurement, and act as a technical liaison among clients and vendor partners to ensure

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of relevant engineering experience with AutoCAD and MS Office.
Preferred: Texas P.E. license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Develop electrical and instrumentation deliverables for energy facilities, including specs and diagrams.
Define scope, schedule, and budget; coordinate procurement and vendor activities.
Review PFDs and P&IDs focusing on tagging and control philosophy.
Serve as Project Engineer for assigned projects, coordinating across disciplines.
Support construction, commissioning, startup, and as-built documentation.
