Audubon is seeking an I&E Engineering Associate I to join our team in our Tulsa, OK Office. This entry-level role involves instrument and electrical engineering tasks under supervision, with responsibilities across vendor data, specifications, sketches, and basic calculations.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's in Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred) and may have EIT certification preferred. Collaboration with clients, vendors, and engineers is key to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• ABET-accredited institution preferred.
• Electrical engineering degree preferred.
• EIT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather and record information from vendor drawings, catalogs, and technical manuals to develop engineering specifications.
• Under direct supervision, prepare basic specifications detailing client performance requirements and vendor drawing requirements.
• Prepare basic sketches and perform basic engineering calculations for project assignments.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with project specifications.
• Interact and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors and other consultants.
• Track and maintain awareness of the schedule and budget for assigned project assignments.
• Adhere to company quality standards and engineering checking/approval procedures.
• Comply with HSSE standards and regulations.
• Participate in hazard identification and report unsafe acts or conditions.
