Williams Companies, Inc. is seeking an I&E-focused Operations Technician in Kentucky to help maintain electrical and control systems across our facilities.

You will install, troubleshoot, and optimize switchgear, PLCs, and motor controls while ensuring safe, reliable operations and collaborating with project teams. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work rotating shifts, travel between locations, and perform physically demanding

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid State Driver's License with clean record.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and travel between locations.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions and PPE.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Safety-oriented and committed to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems (switchgear, motor controls, control loops, PLCs).
• Ensure safe, reliable operations by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain and repair process control systems to support plant operations.
• Collaborate with project teams to define scope and instrumentation specs for new installations/upgrades.
• Perform additional duties to support operations.
