Job summary

Trillium Construction is seeking an I&C Technician near Childress, TX to support instrumentation and automation systems across customer sites.

The role includes troubleshooting, calibration, installation, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation, I/O, PLCs, and electrical equipment, with travel to sites as required.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 Certification

Responsibilities

• Perform instrumentation and automation services, troubleshooting, calibration, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation functionality and I/O operation.
• Terminate PLC signal cabling at PLC cabinets and field side (Instrumentation / VFDs / Electrical Equipment).
• Interpret IO lists and cable scheduling, and interpret control panel/PLC schematics.
• Repair instrumentation with calibration using meters and tools.
• Set up new instrumentation and calibrate to specifications using schematics and drawings.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of test apparatus and peripheral equipment.
• Assist with installation and maintenance projects for automating large industrial processes.
• Use computerized equipment and software to perform testing functions and produce reports.
• Work with engineers testing and commissioning PLC systems.
• Travel to customer sites to provide services as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of instrumentation and automation services, troubleshooting, calibration, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation functionality and I/O operation.
• Terminate PLC signal cabling at PLC cabinets & field side (Instrumentation / VFDs / Electrical Equipment )
• Able to interpret IO lists and cable scheduling
• Able to interpret control panel and PLC schematics
• Repair instrumentation, typically involving calibration using a variety of meters and tools.
• Set up new instrumentation and calibrates to specifications using schematics and drawings.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of test apparatus and peripheral equipment.
• Assist with a variety of related installation and maintenance projects for automating large industrial processes.
• Use computerized equipment and software to perform testing functions and produce reports.

Pay

Pay: $38

Per Diem: $178 / day for days worked

Schedule: Mon - Sun, 80h+ / week
