Job summary

Trillium Construction seeks an Electrical Technician to support conveyor and material handling systems in warehouse settings. Responsibilities include installation, electrical hookup, startup, testing, and ongoing safety and documentation.

You will collaborate with project supervisors, electricians, and installation crews to ensure work meets specifications and safety standards on multiple projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, low voltage, or industrial construction environments is preferred.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail are required.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of conveyor systems, including mechanical assembly and electrical/low voltage components.
• Support electrical hookups to motors, control panels, and distribution equipment under supervision of licensed electricians.
• Assist in system startup, testing, and troubleshooting of conveyor controls and automation components.
• Ensure proper labeling, wire management, and documentation throughout installation.
• Monitor work areas to maintain OSHA compliance and site safety standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and clean work areas.

Job description

Trillium Construction isseeking a motivated Electrical Technician for numerous projects Nationwide to support the installation, oversight, and commissioning of conveyor and material handling systems in warehouse environments.

This role works closely with project supervisors, electricians, and installation crews to ensure systems are installed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

Duties:

• Assist with installation of conveyor systems, including mechanical assembly and electrical/low voltage components
• Support electrical hookups to motors, control panels, and distribution equipment under supervision of licensed electricians
• Assist in system startup, testing, and troubleshooting of conveyor controls and automation components
• Ensure proper labeling, wire management, and documentation throughout installation
• Monitor work areas to maintain compliance with OSHA and site safety standards
• Maintain tools, equipment, and clean work areas

Compensation:

• Hourly pay between: $30/hr - $40/hr, depending on experience
• Per diem at GSA rates
• Company-paid trips home

Qualifications:

• 1+ year experience in electrical, low voltage, or industrial construction environments preferred
• Experience working in warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing facilities preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
