Job summary

Brunel supports a major oil & gas client in Spring, TX, as an I&C&E Engineer on a one-year contract. The role centers on supporting Midland Basin facilities with field walks, drawing markups, MOC routing, and IC&E tasks to ensure safe and compliant operations.

Responsibilities include instrument and electrical system surveillance, installation oversight, risk assessments, incident investigations, and upgrades to meet industry standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience reading P&IDs and electrical drawings.
• Project management experience is preferred.
• Experience with hazardous locations instrumentation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct continuous surveillance and analysis of instrumentation and control systems to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Spec out instrumentation and control systems for onshore facilities.
• Oversee IC&E equipment installation and verify compliance with safety/regulatory standards.
• Participate in risk assessments, HAZOPs, and incident investigations.
• Provide operations support and change management for plant equipment.
