Job summary

RWDY Inc. in Spring, TX is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer III to support upstream facilities in the Midland Basin.

You will conduct field walks, markup IC&E drawings, route MOC documentation, and provide engineering support for oil and gas facilities. Responsibilities include monitoring and optimizing instrumentation and control systems, specifying instruments and LV/MV equipment, supporting brownfield and greenfield projects, and contributing to risk assessments, HAZOPs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting upstream oil and gas production facilities.
  • Ability to read P&IDs, electrical one-lines, panel wiring and instrument-loop diagrams.
  • Experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA and Fire and Gas systems.
  • Knowledge of LV/MV electrical distribution and protective relays.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field walks and prepare IC&E drawing markups.
  • Route and support Management of Change documentation.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation, electrical equipment and control systems.
  • Specify instruments, sensors, and LV/MV equipment.
  • Support installation and commissioning of IC&E equipment.
  • Participate in risk assessments, HAZOPs, and incident investigations.
  • Prepare engineering deliverables (P&IDs, one-lines, loop diagrams).
  • Coordinate with engineers, operations, and contractors.
