Job summary

TerraPower in Wyoming seeks a Test & Fill Facility I&C Engineer to lead the integration, commissioning, and support of I&C systems for the Natrium project. You will develop and maintain the control and monitoring systems used to test, condition, and transfer sodium and other media.

The role works with mechanical, systems, nuclear safety, and operations teams to ensure I&C systems are safe, reliable, compliant with codes and TerraPower standards, and aligned with the Natrium design.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical/Controls/Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and controls engineering for industrial or process facilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain I&C system designs for the Test & Fill Facility (architecture, hardware, software, networking).
• Develop and maintain documentation (SRS, SDDs, ICCs, control logic narratives, loop diagrams, instrument datasheets).
• Develop control strategies for process control, interlocks, alarms, and safety-related functions.
