Job summary

TerraPower seeks an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer for the Natrium Test & Fill Facility in Wyoming. You will design, integrate, and test I&C systems, working with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

You will develop and maintain design documents, support commissioning, and provide field support through construction and operations, aligning with TerraPower's Natrium program.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Controls, or Instrumentation Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years in instrumentation and controls for industrial/process facilities.
• Experience designing, configuring, and troubleshooting industrial control systems (PLC/DCS).
• Experience delivering I&C engineering deliverables like I/O lists and loop diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain I&C system architectures, hardware, software, and networking.
• Maintain documentation: SRS, SDDs, ICDs, control narratives, loop diagrams, instrument specs.
• Develop control strategies for processes, interlocks, alarms, and safety functions.
• Support FATs, SATs, and system integration testing of I&C systems.
• Coordinate I&C interfaces with other Natrium systems and facilities.
• Provide field support during construction, checkout, and operations.
