Job summary
Jobot is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to own PLC-based automation, instrumentation, electrical controls, commissioning, and troubleshooting from engineering through startup. You will work hands-on with PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and process equipment, collaborating across engineering, manufacturing and field teams in a dynamic environment.
Ideal candidates have 8+ years in industrial controls, strong Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and Studio 5000 experience, and
Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on industrial controls, automation, instrumentation, or process controls experience.
- Strong experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and Studio 5000.
- Experience with Burner Management Systems and FAT/SAT, commissioning, startup.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, control narratives, electrical schematics, and instrumentation documentation.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of PLC-based automation, instrumentation, electrical controls, commissioning, and troubleshooting from engineering through startup.
- Work hands-on with PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and process equipment.
- Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing and field teams; travel 15-25% for commissioning and startup.
