Job summary

AllSTEM Connections is seeking an analytical Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to design, develop, and commission advanced manufacturing control systems in Boise. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, deliver P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and robust control narratives, and support project coordination through commissioning.

Ideal candidates hold an ABET-accredited engineering degree, have 4 years of I&C experience in semiconductor or high-tech facilities, and may possess EIT/PE

Qualifications

ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
4 years of instrumentation and controls experience.
Experience with Siemens, Omron, or DeviceNet preferred.
EIT or PE certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Design instrumentation, control, and automation systems and prepare P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and design documentation.
Perform instrument and control valve sizing and develop equipment data sheets and control narratives.
Review vendor submittals, coordinate with project teams, and participate in client discussions.
Provide engineering support during construction, startup, and commissioning in industrial facilities.
