Job summary

NANA Worley, LLC is seeking Instrumentation & Controls Engineers at multiple levels for Anchorage, AK. Roles involve planning and designing process systems within a multi-discipline team, applying advanced engineering principles to projects, with full-time on-site responsibility at headquarters.

Remote consideration may be case-by-case. Positions span from entry-level to Specialist I&C Engineer depending on experience, with opportunities across oil & gas and hydrocarbon plant projects.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, control systems, fire protection, or related engineering field.
• EIT or FE exam preferred.
• PE license strongly desired for senior roles.
• Oil and gas industry experience preferred.
• Alaska North Slope oil and gas experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop instrumentation and controls design standards based on regulations and client requirements.
• Design controls for hydrocarbon plant projects including field and control room instrumentation specs.
• Develop applications of controls and related systems for various industries.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to determine instrumentation specifications.
• Coordinate DCS installations and provide input to P&ID documents.
• Research data and feasibility from proposals and manuals to guide design.
• Help develop project scopes, estimates, and schedules.
• Select major equipment and materials; ensure compliance with codes and laws.
• Provide technical direction to engineers, designers, and drafters.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve existing systems and safety.
