Cindavi, located at Fitchburg campus, seeks an Instruments and Controls / Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a blended software and electrical engineering team. You will oversee design, development, procurement, and testing of control systems powering medical isotope production facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7–10+ years in engineering with management experience.
• Strong electrical engineering expertise in power distribution or I&C, plus PLC software basics.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational synergy.
• Experience in automation for medical instruments, radiopharma, or nuclear industries preferred.
• Experience with PLC programming and embedded C preferred.
• Familiar with Agile and Waterfall project management.

Responsabilités

• Hire, develop, and lead a team of I&C and electrical engineers focused on control systems, instruments, and power supply design.
• Mentor engineers in technology, decision making, and ownership of the I&C equipment they are responsible for.
• Lead the integration of the software and electrical engineering teams to function cohesively and produce unified outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional managers and counterparts at other sites to establish common technology standards and platforms for controls.
• Oversee the development of digital and analog control systems, including DCS, PAC/PLC, and DAQ systems.
• Participate actively in design reviews, design releases, and prioritize troubleshooting efforts.
• Ensure proper release of documentation and work closely with the build and test teams to support equipment installation and commissioning.
