Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Construction Management Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of Instrumentation & Controls and Network infrastructure construction projects. You will work with engineering, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver safe, on-schedule, within-budget projects and support commissioning and turnover.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2–3 years of experience with large commercial constructions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2–3 years of large commercial construction experience.
• Experience coordinating engineering construction, contractors and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, and field issue resolution.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction activities for assigned projects.
• Review engineering drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
• Coordinate with contractors and cross-functional teams.
• Support Instrumentation & Controls and/or Network installations.
• Oversee cable routing, fiber/copper infrastructure, and system integration.
• Support commissioning, testing, and project turnover.
• Resolve field engineering and construction issues.
• Track project schedule, quality, safety, and cost.
• Identify process improvements and drive execution efficiency.
