Job summary

OnQCx is seeking an experienced Security/Telecom Superintendent to oversee on-site installation, coordination, and quality of low-voltage systems for a major construction project. The role requires leading field supervision, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and regulatory compliance across security, telecom, and related disciplines.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in data centers or similarly complex environments, with Procore/Bluebeam and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in construction supervision with 5+ years in security/telecom/low-voltage.
• Experience on mission-critical projects (data centers, fabs, hospitals).
• Knowledge of structured cabling, access control, CCTV, BMS, fiber/copper installation.

Responsibilities

• Lead field supervision of subcontractors on security, telecom, and low-voltage installs.
• Coordinate with GC, Owner's Rep, and trades to align with schedule.
• Ensure compliance with design docs, specs, and codes/standards.
• Monitor installation progress, perform daily walkdowns, resolve field issues.
• Oversee QA/QC, testing, inspections, and turnover packages.
• Support commissioning and turnover of security/telecom systems.
• Drive safety-first culture on site and enforce protocols.
• Report progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to leaders.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and redlines for constructability.
• Support integration with mechanical, electrical, and IT infra.
