Job summary

Schomp Automotive Group in Aurora, CO is seeking an Automotive Sales Manager to lead the new-vehicle sales team. You will forecast goals, manage the department budget, and mentor sales staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences at the Schomp One Price One Hour model.

You will hire and train staff, oversee sales performance, and collaborate with leadership to ensure policies are followed while driving top-tier results and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Automotive Sales Manager experience required.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work retail hours including Saturdays and holidays.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
• Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the new vehicle sales department with assistance from the Dealer and General Sales Manager.
• Attend manager meetings and forecast controllable expense elements.
• Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all new-vehicle sales employees.
• Oversee the efforts of new-vehicle salespeople to enhance customer satisfaction ratings.
• Communicate dealership policies and procedures to sales staff and ensure adherence.
• Guide salespeople in setting objectives and review team performance.
