Job summary

Steven Hyundai, part of the Steven Automotive Group, is hiring a Lube Technician to join our Service Department. You will perform routine maintenance and help keep customer vehicles safe and operating properly, with opportunities to grow within the dealership. Ideal candidates have basic mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn.

Prior lube or automotive experience is preferred but not required. We offer mentorship, benefits, and a path to career advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive or lube technician experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Dependable, punctual, and motivated.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and basic maintenance.
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and identify potential maintenance needs.
• Check tire pressure, fluid levels, batteries, filters, and other basic vehicle components.
• Assist experienced technicians with service and repair tasks.
• Properly document work performed on repair orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Handle customer vehicles with care and professionalism.
