Job summary

Korum Automotive Group in Washington state is hiring Lube Technicians to join our growing team. The right candidate will have strong mechanical abilities and a desire to learn, performing routine maintenance and repairs for customers.

Responsibilities include test-driving vehicles, using diagnostic tools, and communicating with the Service Advisor about needed extra work and timing estimates. You will perform repairs under manufacturer specifications and support warranty service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of related experience or equivalent training.
• Dexterity with a steady hand and good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on the repair order efficiently as directed by the dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional services and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under manufacturer specifications, including warranty work.

Pay Range: $18.27 to $25.82 DOE

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and by the dealership
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six months to one year of related experience or alternative training
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Enjoys working in a dynamic environment
• A teammate with the ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
