Job summary

GE Aerospace's Innoveering center in Bohemia, NY seeks a Test Services and Manufacturing Manager who will lead a world-class team responsible for the delivery of test, fabrication, assembly and evaluation of hypersonic propulsion prototypes.

You will guide data analysis, ensure safety and quality, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with Engineering, Programs, Facilities, EHS and Operations to shape strategy and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 9 years in engineering development, technology or management.
• Experience with prototype ground/flight systems and relevant quality processes.
• Proven hardware production/flight testing leadership.
• Experience with fluid systems in aerospace or propulsion environments.
• Experience with DoD/NASA customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead test engineering, prototype manufacturing and technical support teams.
• Develop and improve test capabilities and data analysis solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet program objectives.
• Drive Lean, standard work and daily management to achieve priorities.
• Support budget planning and investments to enhance capabilities.
