Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Engineer to support hypersonic missile development in the United States. You will derive requirements, support interfaces, and verify subsystem specifications throughout the life cycle from design to flight test.

You will collaborate across disciplines, perform trade studies, and support formal design reviews while maintaining strong communication with cross-functional teams. DoD Secret clearance is preferred or required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Systems Engineer.
• Experience developing, deriving, and/or verifying requirements.
• Experience performing requirement traceability gap analysis.
• ABET Accredited Bachelor’s degree in engineering field.
• Active or Current DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Derive requirements and interfaces and support specification development in DOORS.
• Develop, update, coordinate, and support verification of a subsystem requirement specification.
• Support the full life cycle of assigned subsystems or components through development, test, analysis, verification, and flight test.
• Support assessments of key performance parameters, technical performance measures, and requirement compliance.
• Support formal system design reviews.
• Support interface definition and integration of subsystems and components across the broader system.
• Participate in interdisciplinary engineering efforts on a hypersonic development project.
