Job summary

You will lead concept development for new missile and weapon systems, translate needs into actionable requirements, and coordinate with sponsors, services, and agencies to guide mission-focused research and development.

Role requires on-site work, collaboration across disciplines, and the ability to produce concise briefings and proposals for decision makers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and five (5) years of directly relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance and potentially SCI access.

Responsibilities

• Develop, advise, and manage requirements for hypersonic, ballistic, and cruise missiles in R&D and weapon development spaces.
• Lead concept studies, shape scope, criteria, and direct technical approaches; coordinate teams.
• Engage with sponsors, services, COCOMs, and OGAs to understand gaps and identify solutions.
