Job summary

iRocket is engineering next-generation hypersonic flight systems and solid rocket motors (SRMs). The role spans hypersonics, propulsion integration, TPS evaluation, and high-temperature materials, with hands-on development and testing.

The ideal candidate blends deep hypersonics expertise with SRM curiosity, willing to learn SRM design, manufacturing, and testing across disciplines in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering; master's/PhD preferred.
• Experience in hypersonics, high-speed aerospace systems, propulsion, or aerothermodynamics.
• Ability to work across engineering disciplines and in hands-on environments.

Responsibilities

• Support research, design, development, and testing of hypersonic and high-speed aerospace systems.
• Perform analyses for aerothermal, thermal, structural, and propulsion systems.
• Develop SRM design, analysis, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and qualification activities.
• Translate requirements into analyses, hardware designs, test plans, and development activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and customers to advance propulsion capabilities.
