iRocket is seeking a highly motivated Hypersonics & Advanced Propulsion Engineer to support the development of next-generation hypersonic flight systems, solid rocket motors (SRMs), and advanced propulsion technologies.

The candidate should have strong experience in hypersonics, propulsion, and thermal protection, with a willingness to engage in SRM design, development, and testing. On-site work in New York or Texas is required, with travel to test facilities as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's or higher in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (Master's/PhD preferred).
• Experience in hypersonics or high-speed aerospace systems, propulsion, aerothermodynamics, or related technologies.
• Demonstrated involvement in at least one aerospace development, analysis, research, or testing program.
• Ability to work on-site in New York or Texas and travel to test facilities as required.

Responsabilidades

• Support research, design, development and testing of hypersonic and high-speed aerospace systems.
• Perform analyses for aerothermal, thermal, structural and propulsion-system integrity.
• Contribute to hypersonic vehicle concepts, propulsion integration and flight-test planning.
• Evaluate TPS and high-temperature materials for extreme flight environments.
• Support experimental testing, ground demonstrations, and data analysis.
• Progressively assume greater responsibility across hypersonics and SRM programs.
