Job summary

Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Director of AI&T Engineering to lead the software, electrical, mechanical, and systems teams in hypersonic missile testing programs at Crane, IN.

You will set technical direction, manage senior managers, allocate resources, and ensure DoD-aligned systems engineering across projects, with emphasis on performance, schedule, and budget while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of technical leadership and management experience.
• BS in Engineering or Computer Science related to system design.
• MS in technical, engineering or management; experience may substitute for education.
• U.S. Persons and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AI&T engineering personnel and senior managers across software, electrical, mechanical, systems, and test.
• Set priorities, resource allocation, and budget within the DoD framework.
• Establish standardized processes and metrics across programs and missions.
• Foster professional environment and cross-department collaboration.
• Provide technical guidance on concept formulation and requirements traceability.
• Communicate with stakeholders and ensure timely reporting.
