Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer for Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MSA). This position is located in Roy, Utah.

The role focuses on trajectory analysis and generation for hypersonic systems to support test, development, and analysis. Qualifications include a STEM degree with 5+ years of related experience or equivalent, US citizenship with a Secret clearance, and experience with C++, MATLAB, Python, and aerospace modeling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with related experience.
• US citizenship with a Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
• Experience with modeling, simulation and analysis of aerospace systems.
• Experience generating 6-DoF trajectories for hypersonic platforms.
• Programming in C++, MATLAB, Python or Fortran; Git experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform trajectory analysis and generation for hypersonic systems.
• Support test, development and analysis through MS&A work.
• Collaborate with flight systems futures team on trajectory simulations.
