Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for a full‑time summer position in Colorado. You will support the software engineering lifecycle, from requirements analysis to unit testing, under experienced NG&C/FSW engineers.

This undergrad internship focuses on hands‑on aerospace software development for a hypersonic system. The role requires studying Computer Science or Software Engineering with knowledge of C, C++, or Python and US citizenship for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• Demonstrated experience and/or coursework in C, C++, or Python.
• Foundational understanding of software development principles, including object‑oriented design, version control (e.g., Git), and basic debugging/test workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support the software engineering lifecycle per SDP, including requirements analysis and OO design.
• Contribute to code reviews, unit testing, and integration support.
• Assist with formal test/delivery activities and hands‑on aerospace software development.
