Job summary

Stratolaunch is seeking Engineering Technicians to support environmental testing operations for hypersonic vehicle systems. The role focuses on thermal, vibration, shock, and related testing to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.

Responsibilities include developing test plans, operating chambers and tables, documenting results, calibrating equipment, and designing fixtures. Travel is limited (<5%).

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental testing (thermal, vibration, shock).
• Knowledge of environmental test methods, standards, and instrumentation.
• Proficiency in executing test procedures and technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment setup, operation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to communicate technical challenges and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test activities, operating thermal chambers, vibration tables, shock equipment, and related instrumentation.
• Execute thermal cycling, vibration, shock, and combined environment testing per aerospace standards.
• Ensure accurate documentation, analysis, and reporting of test results.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment, ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Design and fabricate test fixtures, support equipment, and instrumentation setups.
• Create test procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation.
