Job summary

Stratolaunch is recruiting Engineering Technicians to support environmental testing of hypersonic systems in Mojave, CA. The role emphasizes thermal cycling, vibration, shock testing and documentation, with emphasis on test readiness and coordination with engineering teams.

You will design test fixtures, maintain test equipment, and contribute to data collection and analysis to ensure aerospace standards are met. On-site work with potential travel <5%.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental testing (thermal, vibration, shock, etc.)
• Proficiency with test procedures, work instructions, and documentation
• Hands-on experience with test equipment setup, operation and troubleshooting
• Ability to communicate technical challenges clearly and work independently

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental testing operations using thermal chambers, vibration tables and shock equipment.
• Design and fabricate test fixtures, support equipment, and instrumentation setups.
• Create test procedures and work instructions; support test readiness reviews and coordination with engineering teams.
• Communicate project status and technical challenges to leads and test management
