Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the test inquiry, planning, and execution process for hypersonic tests.
• Perform in-depth analysis of test data and prepare reports.
• Provide technical support in aerothermal testing and modeling.
• Lead Technical, Safety, and Readiness Review Boards.
• Perform in-depth analysis of test data to meet analysis objectives.
• Prepare quick-look reports and detailed technical reports to document test planning, data processing, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Utilize commercial and in-house simulation codes and analysis tools to support testing activities.
• Provide senior aerothermal test engineering and/or analysis expertise in areas such as aerothermal testing and analysis, Thermal Protection System (TPS) ablation, Fluid-thermal-structural interaction (FTSI) modeling and simulation, computational heat transfer, optical diagnostic techniques, and statistical methods.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
• Collaborate effectively with senior staff and peers, communicating clearly and concisely in both oral and written formats.

Job description
