Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years in production systems engineering or related large-scale hardware environments.
• 6+ years in hardware lifecycle management, fleet automation, or DC ops systems.
• Experience developing systems software or automation tooling in Python, Bash, PHP, C, or C++ for Linux at scale.
• Experience with production systems including web servers, load balancers, databases, storage, and messaging.
• Excellent written communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Identify root causes of systemic issues across the server fleet to maximize uptime.
• Develop and maintain diagnostic and automation tooling for production servers.
• Define tooling requirements for frontline operations to manage the fleet.
• Lead escalation for tooling and hardware issues affecting fleet health.
• Validate new product integrations into the production environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional tooling teams on roadmaps.
• Analyze data to prioritize automation opportunities in server repair workflows.
• Build relationships to improve global data center operations.
• Mentor engineers on fleet issue resolution and tool improvements.
• Travel up to 25% for global deployments.
