Job summary

LINX is seeking a Data Center Construction Project Manager to lead hyperscale builds nationwide. This full-time travel role entails owning budgets, coordinating crews, and driving site readiness across multiple sites.

You will be on the road 75–100% of the time, with substantial per diem, vehicle, and cell phone allowances to support travel. Ideal candidates have 3+ years managing large hyperscale projects or equivalent commercial PM experience, plus 5+ years in a leadership role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing large-scale hyperscale data center construction projects or 3+ years of general commercial construction project management with ownership of a $1–3 million budget.
• 5+ years in a construction leadership role, or equivalent labor management across multiple crews.
• Available for 100% travel nationwide (all travel expenses covered).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead project kickoff meetings, define project schedules, and conduct site walkthroughs with clients and stakeholders at each new hyperscale location.
• Adapt project plans to site conditions, local labor market, and client requirements of each long-term assignment.
• Own the full multi-million dollar project budget, track spend in real time, and flag variances before overruns.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure equipment and materials are ordered, received, and staged on time.
• Oversee scheduling, hiring, and performance management of installation technicians on each project.
• Track milestones and manage change orders; maintain complete project documentation from kickoff through closeout.
• Deliver final project closeout and client training; facilitate post-project reviews for lessons learned.
