Job summary

Midea America Corp is seeking a Field Project Manager to own on-site delivery from arrival to sign-off for data center projects in Plano, TX. You will coordinate contractors, interface with customers, and loop in engineering to ensure equipment is delivered, installed, and commissioned properly.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in data center facilities, HVAC, MEP, or related industries, plus strong planning and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, Automation or related engineering.
• 5+ years in data centers facility management, HVAC, MEP, or central cooling.
• Knowledge of data center cooling systems and liquid cooling is preferred.
• Strong project planning, site coordination, risk control, and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Direct operations across multiple hyperscale data centers to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Oversee MEP infrastructure including power, UPS, generators, cooling, and security.
• Support planning and deployment of a large hyperscale AI data center.
• Serve as regional escalation lead for incidents, directing root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with facilities, engineering, construction, and deployment teams for readiness.
• Lead commissioning and turnover with SOPs, MOPs, change management and standards.
• Manage vendors, TPMs, site operations, logistics and compliance initiatives.
• Drive operational excellence through standardization and cross-functional collaboration.
