Job summary

FTI is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to support mechanical systems on hyperscale data center projects. You will coordinate with field leaders, manage RFIs, submittals, and schedules, and ensure safety and quality throughout execution.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field, 2–6+ years of experience, and travel up to 20%. Hours are typically 6 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2–6+ years in construction or engineering, ideally with mechanical systems and data center experience.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% and work 6 am–6 pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Support Mechanical Project Manager and site leadership in day-to-day execution of mechanical scope.
• Coordinate with superintendents, trade partners and project controls to track progress and resolve issues.
• Develop and track detailed work plans, schedules and resource needs.
• Monitor installation progress and identify risks to schedule, cost and quality.
• Prepare, track, and manage RFIs to resolve design and field issues.
