TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Data Center Fiber Technician for a contract role in Rock Hill, SC. Join a growing team delivering hyperscale data center infrastructure with fiber installation, termination, and testing expertise.

Expect to work on large-scale projects, follow blueprints, and ensure safety and quality. Pay ranges from $24 to $28 per hour with onsite employment and comprehensive benefits eligibility where applicable.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on fiber experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Comfortable working in an active construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and install fiber optic cabling.
• Perform fiber and copper terminations.
• Test and troubleshoot cabling systems.
• Read and follow blueprints and installation drawings.
• Label, organize, and dress cable runs.
• Install cable trays, pathways, and support systems.
• Build and ground server racks.
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
