Job summary
Aerotek in Little Rock, AR, seeks a Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician for a travel assignment to Iowa. You will join a high-performance team on a large data center build, enjoying premium pay and a robust per diem for seven days a week.
This contract-to-hire role offers long-term work with overtime potential. Requirements include Iowa reciprocity, 3+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience, NEC expertise, and the ability to travel and work full-time in Iowa.
Qualifications
- Active Journeyman or Master Electrician license; Iowa reciprocity.
- 3+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
- Willingness to travel and work full-time in Iowa.
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and large-scale electrical systems.
- Able to work in a physically demanding construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems for a data center build.
- Perform conduit work, terminations, switchgear installation, and panel work.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Work safely within NEC standards and site-specific safety protocols.
- Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades on milestones.
- Complete daily documentation and maintain high-quality workmanship.
